Mr H and the Hawkwind man Nik Turner from the collaberative remastered album "Our Blues" which is an unexpected,organic blend of soulfull blues roots music with a distinct woodwind character and a blend of Mr H's signature nylon-string guitar playing,growling soulful vocals with Nik Turners textured alto saxophone work. Instead of Turners usual cosmic "space rock" tangents the record is a grounded,upbeat story-driven blues collection. The performance is elevated by the tight rhythm section of bassist/piano player John David (Dave Edmunds,Andy Fairweather Low) and drummer Basher Jarrett.
