Its a difficult time for a ballad writer with the attention span in modern society limited and a general sense of fear that permeates society where there is no space for vulnerability the modern writer today would be most likely to write a ballad out of the desire to tell an emotional story through song.So for Mr H to release a Quadruple album of ballads and blues is commercially risky in todays music business,however should the commercial success be considered within an art form?,Mr H doesn't think so,the art is the most important part and the song is king,perhaps the future will change and people will be brave enough to once again get in touch with their true emotions.
